Paris Adventure

These past 2 weeks have been so busy! I am finally in Paris and I have been exploring it everyday with my new friends. I love it here. Its so me! I do not think I could ever leave this place.

Im am living in a dorm room of another school on a floor with about 10 other parsons- paris girls. Everyone is awesome. My roommate is just like me (messy, but we do like things clean and we are willing to put a bit of an effort toward that, but if something else happens to be more important, then... it will be more important) (I apologize for my rambling). Right now our room is rather messy, but WE'RE ARTISTS! And I do not know how we manage to come out of there every morning looking fabulous, but we do ;)

So.... "THE FABULOUS ADVENTURES OF ZOE ROSENBERG"....begin!

Come fly with me

My new Stuart Weitzman patent leather booties <333

Unfortunately, I wasn't really happy with the other pics we took of this outfit, so this is all I have to show at the moment. My dearest puppy, Bailey, was being difficult!! :) Do not worry!! These shoes will be paired with many an outfit in the future!!

The dress is from my favorite store in the world, Anthropologie, and the super fabulous sunglasses are from my wonderful Bubby. They are Tom Ford! I absolutely love Tom Ford right now, so I was very excited when she gave them to me!! Why do I love him so much?? .... because he is a graduate of Parson's Paris!!!

Washington D.C.

I haven't been able to post for a bit, because I've been non stop working on getting to Paris!! So right now I am in Washington D.C. and am sitting in a starbucks. I love this city! I've been shopping and dining, but I'm actually here to get my 1 year visa for Paris. My appointment is tomorrow morning for an interview at the french consulate. I'm a bit nervous that it won't be ready in time for me to fly out friday. Wish me luck! :)

I've been taking tons of pictures, so I will try to post some tomorrow!!

Don't ever fade away

A quick sketch of a dress. Tulle across the face and for the top of the dress it could either be dyed feathers or ripped silk..or perhaps both?? It's supposed to have a sort of bubble skirt bottom.

Poster of a girl

My lovely friend Vanessa modeling my jewelry at her house in her shower. The wet shower tiles make the jewelry really stand out and made everything sort of glow :)

I love love love to collect jewelry, but especially rings. They are mostly from different auctions and antique shops.

Oh say, say, say..

My little cousin Margaux. She is super adorable and G.L.A.M.O.R.O.U.S.

I love this picture in black and white because it makes the fabric folds on her skirt look so dramatic!

Teddy is my other super cute little cousin. They love dressing up together and they are just so very chic!

They're fabulous <333

On the Mark

My momma checking out their adorable arrangement of headbands at Anthropologie and me in the mirror!

My momma collects antique and costume jewelry from the 1920s that she gets from auctions. I love the piece she's wearing in this pic!
Looking lovely on the streets of Wayne, PA <3

Kiss Kiss

A quick sketch I did the period before I had to present a project on Botticelli for my art class.

Botticelli is my favorite painter from the Renaissance. I was able to see his paintings when I was in Florence last year. They are so beautiful!! I was deeply in love <333

He especially inspires me, because of the way that he paints fabrics. They always look so elegant, flowing and free!!

This is a sketch I did of my left hand (because I draw with my right) for my Parson's Paris portfolio.

Follow me Follow me Down Down Down

I went to my dearest Nana's house this weekend to shop for shoes for school in Paris. She is my biggest role model and the reason I love art and fashion as much as I do! So thank you Nana!! You are my fave :)

I love how she decorates her house with all of the paintings in the beautiful, old frames.

She gave me the purse, necklace, and heels and I borrowed the headband from my sis.

This was the wall in the bathroom. 'S' for Stein (Priscilla Stein) on the towels with old pictures of family.
Dress- Deletta

Won't you tell me your name?

This is my Prom dress that I designed. Nina and I made it in 1 week! What it takes to make a dress in 1 week: A lot of tea and a lot of Metric ;)

The bustier top was made with a heavy, silk ribbon sort of thing that my Nana bought from India. The bottom is black chiffon on the top and black silk underneath.

I wanted to make the back cut out, which was lucky because we ran out of that ribbon stuff anyway! It straps together with hooks and the bottom with an invisible zipper.

Shoes: Ralph Lauren

Grow Up and Blow Away

I wanted to design something fun and cute, but also sexy ;)

I was thinking of the top dark purple and the bottom black....or perhaps off-white and black.
Or both!

Skip town, Slow down, Push it to the east coast

I drew this from a statue of a horse with pencil. It's leg was broken, but I left it in the picture. I think it seems more interesting that way.

My wonderful friend Mira made me these adorable cupcakes for my birthday. I love how she arranged them in the basket with the flowers and bows! Thanks Mira! They are delish

This is my pup, Bailey! I gave her a crumb for giving me such cute pics <3

Rose Petal Shoes

Today I bought fake rose petals and I spent hours hot gluing them onto a pair of heels that my Nana gave me about 2 years ago. My goal is to finish it tomorrow, so I can put them up on my blog. They're looking awesome so far!

Me in front of my creation

Close up of portrait and Pablo
This is my self portrait with my friend Nina on the right and my ex-boy Pablo on the left. It was my pride and joy that I worked on for 2 months for school. It's charcoal on canvas. I wanted to make something really dramatic and something to pop out and I love snakes.

First Post!

So this is my first post on my new blog. I have to first give a shout out to my best friend Nina Britschgi who helped me out with this blog so much. She's a great photographer and she has an awesome blog called 'The fruit that eats itself", so check that out!

In this blog I plan to write about art, fashion, and men. This is mostly for girls, but boys are of course welcome. I originally wanted to write this blog to show my art and discuss fashion, but I realized that I have a lot more to write about than just wonderful material things. I've made some mistakes and seen other people make mistakes and I've tried to learn from every little or big experience as much as possible. I hope that what I write about will inspire people not only with artsy sort of things, but also with life. They go hand in hand. Also, I want people to let me know what they think about my opinions. You guys could give me your own opinions or advice or whatever you want! So... let the blogging begin!
